CSR Components

We believe that "a business that makes only money is a poor business"... and therefore giving back to our community is one of our essential activities and a cornerstone of our mission statement.

We are proud to be a signatory of the UN Global Compact promoting its 10 principles along the lines of our work. Our CSR component focuses on these areas:


  • 1. Employee Development
  • The learning curve never stops, and that's why at PACER we ensure that our employees should continue to develop whether through classic, formal training or on-the-job training. We have a brisk training and development program for our employees that covers all the specialties that we are involved in and our ethics charter was created to ensure a fair, professional and pleasant work atmosphere for all.

  • 2. Volunteering
  • One of the activities that we are involved in is 'VeryNile' initiative, a pioneer movement to clean up the Nile and raise awareness about the environment. VeryNile.org have been holding cleaning events and developing eco-friendly solutions to remove trash from the river for the last 3 years now. They have attracted many volunteers from all over the Egyptian corporate community and have cleaned up hundreds of tons of trash in Egyptian cities overlooking the Nile.

  • 3. Promoting Sustainability
  • The Egyptian Green Building Council is a professional association promoting principles of sustainability and green buildings. EGBC develops standards for more efficient buildings in Egypt and the region, similar in concept to LEED and other sustainability standards, but tailored to suit the Egyptian market from its social and environmental sides.
    Recyclobekia is one of the first start-ups in the field of proper electronic waste management. PACER proudly recycles many of its IT equipment with Recyclobekia, making sure they are handled properly with no impact on the environment and with maximum benefit to the community.
