URBAN PLANNING & MASTER PLANNING
PACER Consultants is regularly commissioned as architects for large housing developers and Housing Associations on major regeneration projects. This requires our master planning and urban design skills, usually for a mix of flats and houses over a large site areas, for which we also provide comprehensive planning and working drawing packages. The site we have worked on date are generally in city centers although we have provided feasibility schemes for a wide range of sites throughout Egypt, KSA and Sudan. With our in-house planning expertise, we are able to offer Planning Policy advice to assist the developers for their long-term aims to specific sites.
ARCHITECTURE
Effective developments balance the need for focus and concentration, with flexible meeting and discussion spaces, to promote collaboration and communication. Ease of movement and access is essential to enable all staff and visitors, not only those with disabilities, to achieve maximum productivity during the working day, so it makes sense for these to be built in at the outset of developments. Early identification of areas of potential added value leads to a more efficient design process and the elimination of abortive design. Our aim is to deliver a cost effective solution that meets client aspirations and helps fulfil the end user obligations under current equality legislation, reducing the need for unnecessary future works and providing high quality working environments.
INTEGRATED ENGINEERING
Developing a coherent inclusive design strategy for a commercial office building requires the integration of established regulations and codes of practice, together with a pragmatic approach to their application. PACER Consultants undertook a number of sustainable designs for private and public office complexes. The designs provides solutions for reducing the heat transfer studying the orientation of the buildings, specifying materials environmentally friendly, using sun shades, taking into consideration the UV values of the elevations, and providing natural ventilation systems.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Our design skills also cover interiors and engineering design, adding an extra dimension to our service, our interior design team brings creativity, innovation and fully manage and coordinate the engineering team to develop the most effective solution that meets the projects objectives and combine functionality with innovative designs. Our interior design team is aware of alternative construction methods and materials available in the market, working together with our professional cost estimators, they are able to achieve interior themes within the required budgets.
